- 20.1.2010: Delivery of the second Qingshan newbuilding
The second newbuilding from the Qingshan Shipyard in Wuhan, China was delivered to Utkilen Shipping AS on 18 January 2010. Earlier the same day, the vessel was named "STRAUM" in a ceremony in Shanghai, China. - 11.12.2009: Utkilen enters into contracts for the completion of two 9,500 dwt. chem tankers
We are pleased to announce that Utkilen has acquired two of the three hulls, originally contracted by us, from the Cantiere Navale De Poli estate in Italy and has entered into contracts for the completions of the two ships.
